Inovgreen HL40 grating - Inovgreen HL40 grating for parking lots and roads is a product with the highest strength, intended primarily for heavy vehicles and objects with intensive traffic. Inovgreen HL40 grating for parking lots and roads is intended for use in parking lots near shopping centers, markets and other objects where parking lots are often used. The product is also suitable for access to warehouses, fire engine passages or runways.

Stage 1. Soil preparation

After removing the top layer of soil, fill the construction site with a well-drained gravel or crushed stone mixture, compact everything. For better stabilization of this layer, you can pre-line the surface with construction non-woven material or geotextile. The base layer should be 20 cm thick when preparing the site for a road surface for cars and up to 50 cm for a road surface for trucks.

Stage 2. Leveling layer

Level the surface of the previously prepared base layer with geotextile to ensure separation of the layers. Then cover the area with gravel or a mixture of sand and gravel. The leveling layer should be 2-3 cm thick.

Stage 3. Laying the gratings

• INOVGREEN Park (IP) gratings are laid starting from the corner of the building site, leaving a compensator 2-5 cm from the edge. The first gratings are laid with the “female” hooks facing outward. Then we add more gratings and, pressing with our foot, connect the protrusions. Continue laying, standing on the gratings already placed. Stabilize the surface with a vibrator or roller.

Stage 4. Filling

• Filler: Fill the grates with gravel or other filler. It is recommended to fill the filler 1-2 cm above the grate surface.
• Grass: Fill the grids with soil, a mixture of peat and sand, or other material suitable for grass. For best results, mix the grass seed with the substrate before filling the grids. The grass should be well established before making the project area accessible to traffic.

NON-STANDARD METHODS OF SUBSTRATE PREPARATION

In special cases, when intensive use of the area covered with nets is not expected, a simplified method of land preparation can be used.
1. Remove vegetation and topsoil approximately 7 cm thick (depending on the type of surface).
2. If desired, cover the surface with construction cloth.
3. Pour an even layer of gravel-sand mixture at least 3 cm thick and lightly tamp it. Then line the surface with mesh and fill as intended.

ALTERNATIVE TO THE USE OF INOVGREEN PARK IP GRIDS

If there is a need to quickly stabilize a green area and heavy traffic is not expected, you can use a quick and effective method of laying INOVGREEN IP grids.
1. Turn over the panel of four pre-connected IP grids with “leaflets”.
2. Place the first panel, pressing it lightly against the lawn. Then add and press another panel of grating, rotated in the same way.
3. If necessary, the mesh can be easily cut into the desired shape.
