Installation of lawn georegittes: step -by -step instruction and selection of quality materials

1. Soil preparation is the foundation of success

2. Pit and foundation

It is recommended to use road ballast, crushed stone or mixed aggregate, compacted with a vibrating plate. We also recommend laying geotextiles for stabilization.
3. Leveling layer
After the base, a layer of sand or sand-gravel mixture 2–3 cm thick is applied. The surface is leveled and compacted.

5. Backfilling and compaction
After installation, the geogrid is filled with crushed stone or gravel 1–1.5 cm above the grid. Suitable fractions for this are 8–16 mm, 16–25 mm or 22–32 mm. Then the surface is compacted again.
6. Final works

If you had to cut out individual parts during the installation process (for hatches, curbs, etc.), make sure the connection is strong.

If necessary, add filler in areas of subsidence.
