Stoneflex Window A is a one-component vapor-permeable acrylic sealant for sealing the window structure (PVC).

Scope:

• Sealing of seams around doors and windows to protect the mounting foam and ensure the escape of water vapor.
• Connection of vertical and horizontal building elements.

Main properties:

• One-component sealant that can be used at sub-zero temperatures.
• High vapor permeability for effective ventilation.
• High elasticity after hardening, which ensures resistance to deformations.
• Possibility of coloring for a harmonious combination with other elements.
• Odorless and chemically neutral.
• The possibility of applying several layers after hardening.

Technical characteristics:

• Appearance: white.
• Density: 1.45 g/ml.
• Conditional tensile strength: 0.2-0.3 MPa.
• Relative elongation at break: 350%.
• Resistance to cyclic deformations: amplitude 2 mm, 100 cycles.
• Vapor penetration resistance at a layer thickness of 5 mm: no more than 0.25 m₂ h Pa/mg.
• Water resistance at a pressure of 600 Pa: at least 1 hour.
• Deformation capacity: not less than 15%.
• Shore A hardness: 30.
• Application temperature: from -10 °C to +35 °C.
• Operating temperature: from -40 °C to +70 °C.

Surface preparation:

The surface must be strong, clean and dry. Remove dust, cement film, remnants of old sealants. If the adhesion is unsatisfactory, it is recommended to use the Stoneflex Industry Window B primer (in a ratio of 1:2 with water).

Application:

Insert the tube into the gun and apply the sealant, ensuring tight contact with the sides of the seam. To achieve neat lines, use protective tape, which must be removed before the sealant hardens.

Transportation and storage:

Store up to 24 months in a dry place at a temperature of +5 °C to +25 °C. The product can be transported at temperatures down to -10 °C for 3 weeks.

Notes:

Do not use for contact with food products or in medicine. Not compatible with PP and PE.
