One-component vapor barrier acrylic sealant for sealing window structures (PVC).

Field of application:

• Sealing of joints around doors and windows to protect the mounting foam and ensure the removal of water vapor.
• Sealing of joints of vertical and horizontal structural elements.

Properties:

• One-component sealant that can be used even at negative temperatures.
• High vapor permeability ensures effective "breathing" of structures.
• High elasticity after hardening, guaranteeing resistance to deformations.
• The possibility of coloring for an aesthetic combination with other materials.
• Odorless and chemically neutral, which makes it safe for use.
• The possibility of applying several layers after curing without loss of quality.

Technical characteristics:

• Appearance: white.
• Density: 1.45 g/ml.
• Tensile strength: 0.2–0.3 MPa.
• Relative elongation at break: not less than 350%.
• Resistance to cyclic deformations: amplitude 2 mm, 100 cycles.
• Vapor permeability at a layer thickness of 5 mm: no more than 0.25 m₂hPa/mg.
• Water resistance at a pressure of 600 Pa for at least 1 hour.
• Deformation capacity: not less than 15%.
• Shore A hardness: 30 (after 28 days at 50% humidity).
• Application temperature: from -10 to +35 °C.
• Operating temperature: from -40 °C to +70 °C.

Surface preparation:
The surface on which the sealant is applied must be clean, dry and strong. Before applying, remove dust, cement residues, old sealant and other contaminants that can reduce adhesion. To improve adhesion, you can use Stoneflex Industry Window A primer, diluted with water in a ratio of 1:2.
Application:
Insert the tube of sealant into the gun and apply evenly to the seam, ensuring tight contact with the sides of the seam. To achieve clear lines, use protective tape, which should be removed before the sealant hardens.
Storage and transportation:
Store up to 24 months in a dry place at a temperature of +5 to +25 °C. The product can be transported for up to 3 weeks at a temperature not lower than -10C, but before use, the sealant must be kept at 23C for 24 hours.
Notes and limitations:

• Do not use in contact with food products or for medical purposes.
• Not suitable for use on PP or PE, as there is no adhesion.
