Coating waterproofing is a reliable protection of the structure from groundwater

Waterproofing of objects with coating materials has become a popular choice for protecting horizontal and vertical surfaces in buildings. These materials differ in composition, but have a common advantage over rolled analogues – they provide a solid and uniform coating, devoid of seams. This provides effective protection against moisture penetration and guarantees the durability of the coating.
One of the most popular coating materials for waterproofing exterior walls and roofs is bitumen mastic.
There are several types of mastics according to their composition:
- Waterproofing coating materials are an effective and durable alternative, providing reliable protection of buildings from moisture for a long period.
- Bitumen mastics: they are based exclusively on bitumen, which makes them effective for protection from moisture and resistant to various weather conditions.
- Bitumen-polymer mastics: this combination of bitumen and polymer components improves the elasticity and adhesion of the material, which makes it more adapted to moving parts of the building.
- Bitumen-rubber mastics: the use of rubber gives the material flexibility and resistance to extreme temperatures.
- Bitumen-aluminum mastics: these mastics have an addition of aluminum filler, which provides high resistance to ultraviolet radiation and thermal effects.
Waterproofing mastics are divided into two main groups: water-based and organic solvent-based.
The advantage of water–based mastics is the absence of odor and the use of material outside and inside the structure.
Mastics based on organic solvents allow the material to be applied at low temperatures and are characterized by high adhesion to wood and metal.
All the materials offered are ready for use and do not need preliminary preparation, heating or other actions.
The only thing that needs to be done is to thoroughly mix the mastic before applying Teknorep 300EX non-shrinkable thixotropic mixture (25 kg).
It is recommended to apply waterproofing mastic at the surface level, avoid pits, cavities and large cracks. If such defects exist, they should be corrected with appropriate repair mixtures Teknorep 300 or Teknorep 300 EX.
The line includes several types of mastics designed for gluing insulation boards on the foundation (extruded polystyrene XPS, EPS).
These mastics can be used as an independent waterproofing material or in combination with other, for example, rolled materials.
