Components for formwork
Monolithic construction is today one of the most common building construction technologies in Ukraine. It allows to implement objects of any complexity, shape and height in a short time, ensuring high strength and durability of structures. The key element of this technology is formwork , the quality of which directly depends on the geometry and reliability of reinforced concrete elements.
Formwork is a system of panels and components that form a concrete structure until it reaches its design strength. That is why formwork components play no less important a role than the formwork panels themselves.
Main components for formwork systems
The following elements are used for reliable fixation and screeding of the formwork:
-
tie screws (studs);
-
cup nuts;
-
cones;
-
PVC tubes;
-
spring clips (chiroses);
-
special keys for installation.
All of these formwork materials provide structural rigidity, withstand significant loads, and allow for multiple uses.
Formwork nuts
One of the most common elements of the internal tie is the formwork cup nuts , which work in conjunction with the tie screw. They are made of cast iron and can be galvanized or non-galvanized. Galvanized nuts have a much longer service life, as they are protected from corrosion and mechanical damage.
An important indicator of quality is the structure of cast iron: the finer the grain, the higher the strength of the product. Nuts are available in a diameter of 90 mm, which allow the formwork panels to be fastened at different angles.
Formwork shingles
An effective alternative to the classic "screw + nut" system are spring formwork clamps (chirozas) . They allow you to fix formwork panels made of plywood or timber without the use of tension screws, thanks to a toothed disk mechanism.
The standard formwork is designed for a load of up to 2 tons, and the reinforced formwork formwork is designed for a load of up to 3 tons. Installation is carried out on reinforcement with a diameter of 6, 8 or 10 mm using a special key. After fixing, the reinforcing frame is installed and concrete is poured. Formwork forms significantly speed up installation work, reduce costs for components and facilitate dismantling of the formwork.
How to choose the right formwork components
When choosing components, it is necessary to consider:
-
maximum load on the formwork;
-
type and characteristics of formwork panels;
-
number of cycles of use;
-
operating conditions at the facility.
High-quality formwork components ensure safety, geometric accuracy, and time savings on the construction site.
The use of reliable materials is the key to effective monolithic construction. Flap nuts , tie screws and formwork screws allow you to choose the optimal solution for both private and industrial construction, ensuring strength, speed of installation and durability of structures.
