Protective layer retainers are important elements in monolithic construction, as they ensure the correct position of the reinforcement and guarantee the necessary protective layer of concrete. They prevent contact of metal reinforcement with the external environment, which contributes to the durability of reinforced concrete structures.

Fixators can be divided into three main types:

Plastic retainers
Fiber concrete fasteners
Clamping strips for double reinforcement

Let's take a closer look at each type of retainer and their purpose.

Plastic retainers

Plastic fasteners are among the most common due to their lightness, moisture resistance, and affordability. They are widely used to reinforce walls, columns, slabs, floors, and other structures.

Main types of plastic fasteners:

"Star" clamp - used for vertical reinforcement of columns, pillars, walls. Thanks to the original lock, it is securely fixed to reinforcement with a diameter of 6-20 mm.

"Universal" clamp - used for horizontal reinforcement of concrete floors and floor slabs. It provides reliable fixation of reinforcement with a diameter of 5-19 mm at the required level.

"Cone" retainer - prevents concrete from entering the restrictor tube when pouring concrete structures.

"Flooring" fixer - designed for reinforcing concrete floors laid on soft substrates (crushed stone, sand). Due to its rigidity, it withstands significant loads during concrete pouring.

These fasteners are used to reinforce horizontal structures such as floor slabs and foundations.

Fiber concrete fasteners

Fiber concrete fasteners have high strength and good adhesion to concrete, so they are ideal for critical structures.

Concrete retainer with steel clamp (35/40/50 mm) – used for horizontal and vertical reinforcement.

Protective layer fasteners are indispensable elements of monolithic construction, as they ensure the correct location of reinforcement and protect structures from corrosion. The choice of the appropriate type of fastener depends on the specifics of the construction process and strength requirements. The use of high-quality fasteners allows you to increase the durability and reliability of reinforced concrete structures.
