A non -removable arfen sinusoidal Slab Joint sjs 140 mm steel, length of 2.7 m

The SJS 140 fixed steel formwork effectively minimizes the impact of wheel loads while reducing vibrations thanks to its 50 × 4 mm cold-drawn sine wave superstructure. The system distributes the load evenly between the slabs, preventing their vertical displacement by means of load-bearing plates.

The main purpose of fixed steel formwork is to provide high stability and protect the edges of concrete slabs from mechanical influences, such as heavy traffic, impacts, vibrations and other external factors. This structural element prevents chipping and destruction of concrete edges, which ensures durability and reliability of concrete surfaces over a long period of operation.

Steel surfaces are made of hot-dip galvanized steel or stainless steel grade SS 304. For floors exposed to aggressive environments (e.g. lactic acid), it is possible to manufacture them from stainless steel grade 316 .

Thanks to the load transfer plates, vertical displacement of the slabs is minimized, and their joints provide linear movement of ±20 mm in the longitudinal and transverse directions. Expansion joints are used to prevent the formation of random cracks in the concrete slabs.
