HYDROFLEX thermoplastic tape is used for horizontal and vertical expansion joints, underground structures, basements and semi-basements, blind areas, hydraulic structures designed for wastewater treatment, tanks for drinking, household water and swimming pools, tunnels and ventilation holes, for waterproofing cold joints. The main advantages of Hydroflex thermoplastic tape are: ease of application with epoxy glue, unique chemical composition, which provides high elasticity (600%), high adhesion to dry and wet concrete. Hydroflex thermoplastic tape is not damaged by plant roots, is resistant to aggressive effects of ozone, fuel oil and oil, adapts to use in a wide temperature range. It is also possible to connect two strips by means of thermal exposure.

  • high adhesion ability
  • chemical resistance
  • absence of solvents in the composition
  • for expansion joints of floors, walls, blind areas and terraces
  • waterproof and gas tightness
  • adaptation to wet surfaces
  • a practical consistency for application
  • applied without primer

Scope of application

  • Horizontal and vertical expansion joints.
  • Underground structures, basements and semi-basements, blind spots.
  • Hydraulic structures designed for wastewater treatment, reservoirs for drinking and household water and swimming pools.
  • Tunnels and ventilation openings.
  • For waterproofing cold joints.

Main advantages

What should I pay attention to when preparing the mixture?

1. The mixture is prepared immediately before use and should be used within 30 minutes.

2. Do not leave the mixture in the container for more than 5 minutes after the end of mixing.

3. During application, the temperature of the substrate and the environment must be within 5 - 30 °C.

The lifetime and processing time of artificial resins depends on the humidity of the base and the ambient temperature: at low temperatures, the lifetime of the finished composition increases, and conversely, high temperatures accelerate the reaction

What is the consumption of Hydroflex - 21?

Consumption: Hydroflex 21 - 1.6 kg /1 sq.m. per 1 mm layer, the specified material consumption rate is designed for a flat surface and a temperature from 15 to 25 ° C. At lower base temperatures, the consumption may increase and the curing time may increase.
