The landmarks for the blind

The world of blind people is limited in almost everything. A person deprived of vision today does not have the opportunity to independently move around the streets and visit public places - shops, pharmacies, parks.
The reason for this is the lack of tactile road elements in key areas: at above-ground and underground pedestrian crossings, metro stations, near public transport stops, in pedestrian zones and sidewalks.

In European countries, this problem has been solved by installing a special tactile coating that is mounted flush with the floor or sidewalk. It is also envisaged to apply tactile elements to door handles and handrails.
Alternatively, pedestrian areas adjacent to the roadway are equipped with protective fences or railings. Tactile surfaces are often installed at bus stops, underpasses, and metro stations to ensure safe navigation for people with visual impairments.

Such measures enable people with special needs to move confidently and safely in any direction, depending on their needs.
Blind people have much better developed senses of touch, hearing, and smell than sighted people, which helps them navigate in space.

Outside the home, a blind person uses a special cane (Hoover cane), which helps them sense obstacles in their path in advance, determine the direction of travel, and, if necessary, stop — for example, at a pedestrian crossing or stop.

Tactile floor covering for floors TM "Arfen"
Our company offers a universal solution for creating a safe and accessible environment — tactile coating TM "Arfen" .
It is suitable for use both indoors and outdoors.

The coating is made of TPE material with polyurethane and has a bright yellow signal color. The form is a tile measuring 30×30 cm and 40×40 cm, which is mounted flush with the finishing coating.

Two types of corrugation are available:

The color of the tile is preserved even after prolonged use, the corrugation does not get pressed or chipped. The material retains its elasticity at low temperatures.

By equipping public spaces with tactile signage for people with visual impairments, you make them accessible, convenient, and safe for everyone.
