In addition to the strength of the structure, a key factor is protection against moisture and groundwater. Excessive moisture in underground spaces causes discomfort, mold growth and accelerated destruction of building materials. Installation technology
Unfolding the canvas - the membrane is spread along the wall with a geotextile layer to the soil. The upper edge should be 30-100 cm above the backfill level.
Joining the sheets - laying is carried out with an overlap of 10-20 cm, the joints are fixed with butyl rubber tape for sealing.
Fixation - the membrane is attached to the wall mechanically (with dowels in 30 cm increments) or with special strips.
Drainage system - a drainage pipe is laid around the perimeter of the foundation, to which a membrane is connected for effective water drainage.
