Fiber PolyexMesh (replacement of metal)

Polyex Mesh-twisted synthetic fibers created for the purpose of micro-reinforcement, improving the mechanical properties and durability of concrete.

Polyex Mesh is a fiber consisting of a special mixture of co-polymer and polypropylene. They create reinforcement in three dimensions, which reduces or completely eliminates the plastic shrinkage of concrete, replacing reinforcement with steel fibers, light rods and anti-shrink nets.

Polyex Mesh fibers are used for the production of structural fiber reinforced concrete with improved properties compared to steel fiber reinforced concrete.

concrete industrial self-leveling floors;

road and bridge coverings;

devices for cement-sand floor screed;

outdoor areas, parking lots;

concrete slabs of floors, foundations;

monolithic structures, reinforced concrete piles, concrete columns;

mortars, dry mixes and plasters;

casting of small architectural forms from concrete;

potting on a ground base;

in the production of concrete products, trays, drainage systems, containers (with drinking water), swimming pools, elements of enclosing structures, shotcrete, etc. concrete class from B-5 to B-100 MPa

Fiber Types:

Polyex Mesh fibers are available in the following lengths: 24 mm, 38 mm and 54 mm.

This type of fiber provides convenient dosage, mixing and uniform distribution in the cement matrix. Such fibers absorb the maximum energy of crack formation.

Energy absorption determines the strength coefficient and is an indicator of the effectiveness of fiber reinforcement.

Polyex Mesh-starting with a small dosage, it reduces the consumption of steel in all concrete ground slabs and precast concrete elements. The length of the fibers is also ideal for thin elements of reinforced concrete for enclosing structures. The fibers improve architectural and consumer quality and increase the flexural tensile strength.

Application and storage:

For best results, the fibers should be added to the concrete mass. It can be added to the concrete truck by mixing in a concrete mixer for at least 3 min / every 1m3.

For optimal results, the fibers must be dry.

Packaging:

Polyex Mesh fiber is packed in 1 kg paper bags.

1 kg of Polyex Mesh fiber contains about 161,900 fibers.

Dosage:

Depending on the purpose of the concrete (composite): 1÷3 kg of fibers per 1 m3 of concrete.

This amount allows you to give the concrete excellent properties and in some cases completely eliminate the phenomenon of plastic shrinkage.

For comparison, the dosage of steel fibers is 25-50 kg/1m3 of concrete.

In order to impart special composite properties, it is possible to increase the dosage to more than 0.5% of the volume, which is not possible when using steel fibers.

Dosage technique:

Polyex Mesh-dosage should be carried out under special conditions:

concrete plant, mixer with feed: the fibers should be fed directly to the dispenser at the same time as the filler, cement, sand and the first part of the gravel.

ATTENTION: DON'T add fiber in the first place.

After serving, stir at maximum speed for at least 5 minutes.

Concrete truck with loading device: add Polyex Mesh with gravel (after cement, sand, water and additives);

Concrete truck without loading device: add fibers at the end (after all components), 4 bags/min, rotation speed-10-17 rpm.
