Polypropylene fiber BELMIX

BELMIX-polypropylene fiber of the multifilament type. It is made of isotactic polypropylene, with the help of a high technological process. BELMIX fiber is the only smallest (69 microns) polypropylene fiber that combines mechanical and chemical properties.

BELMIX is hundreds of millions of the finest silky polypropylene fibers in every 1 m3 of concrete, evenly distributed throughout the mass and accepting the shrinkage stresses of the concrete, which greatly reduces the appearance of microcracks.

BELMIX is designed for micro-reinforcement of concrete in order to:

  • significant reduction in the number of microcracks (>95%) appearing in the initial stage of concrete hardening;
  • reducing water absorption (33-44%);
  • increase of frost resistance;
  • prevent damage to surfaces, edges, and corners;
  • reducing cracks under dynamic loads;
  • increasing the bending strength of concrete;
  • reducing damage when removing the formwork;
  • increase in impact strength;
  • improved workability;
  • additional resistance to fragmentation >8%;
  • increases in tensile strength >20%.

Application technique:

It is added to the dry mix or to the concrete mixer.

Mix in a concrete mixer for 1 min for every 1m3 of concrete.

Expenditure:

Concrete: 0.6 kg – 2.7 kg per 1 m3

Foam concrete: 0.15 kg – 0.3 kg per 1 m3

Cement-sand mortar, screed: 0.6 kg per 1 m3.

Packaging:

it is delivered in pulp bags of 0.6 kg and 0.9 kg.
