TYPES OF RETAINERS FOR FITTINGS

The company "Protek-S" successfully introduces modern materials in the construction market of Ukraine, in particular, in monolithic construction. In 2005, we started the production of such an important consumable for all construction organizations as a retainer for fittings. The range of products of different types is impressive and is being improved daily, meeting the needs of the modern market of building materials.The type and shape of the clamps are determined by their purpose and the location of the reinforcement in a monolithic structure.

There are several main types of fixators:


The "asterisk" retainer is used in the reinforcement of vertical concrete structures – columns, pillars, walls and protects the reinforcement from displacement and touching the formwork. Such a fixator allows you to set the desired distance from the walls of the formwork to the reinforcement frame. Most often it is used in the construction of walls, but with the help of the "asterisk" retainer, other vertical structures can be erected. This element has flexible latches, due to which the "asterisk" lock can be used only for one thickness of the protective layer, but is designed for fittings of different diameters. The "asterisk" retainer is the most common type of retainers.

  • The "asterisk" clamps are designed for fittings with a diameter of 8-16 millimeters.

They are used for filling vertical surfaces: walls, crossbars, columns. For the reliability of the design, from 4 to 10 clamps per square meter are used. The exact amount depends on the thickness of the reinforcement – the smaller the diameter, the more reinforcing bars and, accordingly, more retainers.

  • We produce the "asterisk" fixators of the following sizes: 25, 30, 35, 40 and 50 mm.


For the horizontal arrangement of fittings in the construction of foundations, industrial floors, floor slabs, "flooring" fixators are used.

It is important to take into account that the "flooring" fixators are used when installing concrete filler floors on crushed stone and non–solid or loose surfaces - sand, polystyrene, cotton wool.

Also for installation on membranes and films due to the increased area of the base, which will not damage the surface. One of the main tasks of the fasteners for the "flooring" reinforcement is to ensure maximum durability of the metal frame. When installing a monolithic building element, such as a foundation, floor slab, column, etc., the formwork is often filled with a large flow of mortar. Despite the fixation of the reinforcement frame made by the knitting wire, the concrete mixture can disrupt the reinforcement structure, due to its inherent mass and density.

We offer the following types of fixators "flooring": flooring 15-20, flooring 25-30, flooring 30-40 (lightweight), flooring 30-40, flooring 55-65, flooring 70-80, flooring 90-100

The "rack" retainer is used for the device of a horizontal protective layer on a solid base - concrete, plywood. The clamps are made of durable plastic, which is resistant to aggressive substances, corrosion, temperature changes.The "rack" retainer has thick enough walls so as not to deform under the weight of the reinforcement and withstand a significant load.

The "rack" retainer is offered in the following sizes: with toyka 10-15, universal rack 20-25-30, rack 30/35, rack 50/8-24.


The "cone" retainer is a plug that is fixed at both ends of the tube. A significant advantage over other consumables is that the "cone" retainer can be reused after removing the formwork. The "cone" retainer is a protective retainer that, when used in conjunction with the tube, protects the formwork elements from concrete entering the tube. The "cone" retainer is installed on the PVC tube, increasing the area of contact with the formwork shield. The retainer is installed at both ends of the tube.

Lock-bar "zigzag" - used in monolithic construction in the reinforcement of floors and the manufacture of reinforced concrete slabs, for fixing reinforcement, reinforcement mesh with a protective coating layer from 15 to 25 mm. The main advantage is that the clamps are convenient to use on a large filling area. It is also used when laying concrete on a spike-shaped membrane. The locking bar "zigzag" withstands high loads.


The "bone" fiber concrete retainer with the addition of short polypropylene fiber fibers is used when installing vertical and horizontal reinforcement to create a protective layer with a height of 35,40,50 mm. These fixers are indispensable for the construction of dams, dams, hydroelectric power plants, canals, reservoirs and other hydraulic structures, subway tunnels and railway tracks. They have perfect adhesion with concrete because they have the same structure.
