The quality of the device of the industrial floor, concrete walkway, concrete platform, as well as the operational strength of such structures largely depends on the embedded building materials that are used for their construction. How does the construction of the site begin?
If the structure is arranged on a sandy base, soil, gravel and the compaction coefficient is less than 0.98, then the base is compacted using vibration mechanisms. If you decide to produce a concrete coating, then a very important point is to create proper and high-quality waterproofing. As an economical waterproofing material, a polyethylene film from 80 to 200 microns should be used.



Why is moisture protection necessary at the base of a concrete structure?
Water, penetrating into the structure of concrete, begins its destruction. After all, moisture in its chemical composition contains alkalis, salts, acids. If we do not take into account this important point, destruction is guaranteed in the future.
The next step will be the construction of a reinforcement cage.

How to arrange the first reinforcement frame?
The reinforcement is fixed on the clamps, after which concrete is poured. The process of spreading the concrete mass over the polyethylene film passes without difficulty, since it delimited all the pores and irregularities. The height of the protective layer according to the project should be at least 25-30 mm. Therefore, we recommend using the flooring fixator 25-30 on an unstable base, film, membrane or universal fixator 20-25-30 if the base is prepared (plywood, concrete).


Thus, we can say that the rebar retainers are located between the rebar itself and the plastic film, thereby giving a guarantee of a well-fixed base. In this case, the polyethylene film acts as a hydro barrier, preventing water from penetrating into the soil.

How to arrange a second reinforcement frame?
If the project assumes double reinforcement, then the solution is very simple. Use rebar retainers of a higher height – flooring 70-80 or flooring 90-100. They can be placed in a staggered order between the lower-height reinforcement retainers that were used for the first layer of reinforcement.


Rebar retainers for double reinforcement are used when really high-quality building elements are needed.


Is there a way to save money on the construction of a concrete structure with double reinforcement?
Of course! If you plan only one layer of reinforcement, but at the same time do not want to lose on the strength of the concrete structure, then instead of the second reinforcement frame, you can use concrete, into which PolyexMesh copolymer fiber was previously added, at the rate of 1.5 kg to 3 kg per concrete cube, specially used for micro-reinforcement, improving the mechanical properties and durability of concrete.
